Our leadership and staff from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Thurston Arthritis Research Center include people from varying backgrounds. Some staff have worked with the Johnston County Osteoarthritis Project since its beginning in 1991, others for 10 years or more. Many of our staff live in Johnston County. Our leadership and staff are passionate about research, science, and helping the community.
